This masterclass is hosted by Marisa Michael, MSc, RDN, CSSD. She literally wrote the book on nutrition for climbers, as well as published original research in scientific journals on climbers and disordered eating. She is a dietitian of 23 years and specializes in working with climbers to find better health and performance through nutrition. She owns a private practice in Oregon where she helps athletes recover from eating disorders. Marisa serves on the IFSC nutrition committee and the USA Climbing medical committee.
She has presented for many organizations like the International Olympic Committee, USA Climbing, Seattle Bouldering Project, SportRock, Ontario Climbing Federation, Mesa Rim Reno, Saudi Climbing Federation, and more.
